Wang Wei-Wei, master of Archaeology and Art History at Seoul National University, Korea, and is currently the in-house curator of MoCA, Shanghai. Since 2011, Wang has launched series of group exhibitions, “+Follow”, which featured the creative experiments of young Chinese artists. In 2015, Wang has initiated the MoCA Pavilion, which continues to serve as an experimental platform that showcases the artists’ works from China and worldwide. In 2016, she was the co-curator for “The Light that I Feel – Yang Fudong’s Solo Exhibition (2016)” at Daegu Art Museum in Korea. Wang has also curated several exhibitions including: “Reflection of Minds – MoCA Shanghai Envisage (2010)”, “KUSAMA YAYOI – A Dream I Dreamed (2013)”, “Rediscovery: Animamix Biennale (2013–2014)”, and “Space in Mind – The Animamix Biennale (2015-2016)”. Wang Wei-Wei also had worked as the coordinator for the Creative Center at Bund18 (2009) and the coordinator for the Chinese Contemporary Art Awards (CCAA) (2010).
